The most important element in determining the quality of pet care is the experience, knowledge and a compassionate staff. We have enjoyed low employee turnover and high rate of client retention for 18 years at Grant Animal Clinic,LLC.

Dr Elizabeth Billings: Practice owner, graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science in 1988 and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. She is married to the love of her life, Tim Spark, and they are blessed to have 2 wonderful daughters that go to school here at DAR. Her special interest is wildlife and raptor (birds of prey) medicine.  She loves dogs. Has 4 of her own. To relax, she rides horses and spends time gardening.  "I love my job, I get up every morning excited to go to work".

Dr. Megan Simpson: Graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She is from Birmingham, Alabama. She brings the newest cutting edge knowledge to our clinic.  Dr. Simpson loves cats. Dr Simpson has a special interest in feral cat programs & humane society medicine and surgery. Her fiancee, Marcus, is a vet student at Auburn. She has a Doberman, named Luke, 4 cats, Maggie, Marty, Mollie and Lancelot and 2 Lionhead rabbits, Lexie and Bucky.  She is a member of Church of the Highlands Church.

Scarlett King: Our Award winning and extremely talented Master Groomer. Scarlett has enjoyed grooming show dogs for the past 30 years.  She has appeared in grooming videos and been showing her own dogs for many decades.  Scarlett can bring out the beautiful attributes of every animal to look their best.   

Vet Nurse Team: Fawn is our licensed veterinary technician(Working here for 11 years) , Jamie (Working here for 8 years) is a licensed veterinary assistant.  She loves animals! Paige is moving up through the ranks here and is considering becoming a veterinarian. Holly, a previous employee was accepted in to veterinary school for this fall. We are very proud of her.   They have combined experience of 21 years here.  Their compassion and attention to every detail make them valuable assets.  They, along with the rest of our support staff, are ready to give your pets the best health care.

Kennel team:    Ted, Andrew, Wyatt & Jennifer are all very dedicated to making your pet's boarding experience delightful and relaxing.  Their goal is to assure that your pet feels totally at home during their stay. 

Office Hours: Mon - Fri: 7:30am to 5:00pm     Sat:  9:00am to 12pm     Sunday: Closed
Doctor's Hours: Start at 9:00am Mon-Sat   Lunch: 12pm- 1pm Mon-Fri
For your convenience, Mon-Fri you may drop off patients as early as 7:30am.
